SmartHomeEntry uses essential and functional cookies. Additionally - only after you consent via the cookie banner - we run anonymous visit analytics (PostHog, EU region). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

• sb-* - Authentication session cookie (Supabase Auth). Required to maintain your login session. Duration: session. Category: essential.
• NEXT_LOCALE - Language preference (next-intl). Required to display the site in your chosen language. Duration: 1 year. Category: essential.
• theme - Color theme preference - light or dark (next-themes). Remembers your theme choice between visits. Duration: 1 year. Category: functional.

We do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, or advertising cookies. Anonymous PostHog analytics run only with your consent and are hosted in the EU region (Frankfurt). We do not track your activity on other websites.

3. Third-Party Cookies

During the payment process, Stripe (our payment processor) may set its own cookies required for secure transaction processing, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance. These cookies are subject to Stripe's privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). SmartHomeEntry has no control over cookies set by Stripe.

Please note, however, that blocking essential cookies (sb-*) will prevent you from logging in to the service, and deleting the NEXT_LOCALE or theme cookies will reset your language and theme preferences to their defaults.
