From one command to a working address
Thirty seconds: the problem, one command on your home server, and the address that opens in a browser. Animated from the real install command - no stock footage.
How does SmartHomeEntry work?
A secure SSH tunnel connects your home server to the user through our relay server - without opening any ports.
An open-source agent opens an outbound SSH tunnel to our relay. You get a permanent HTTPS subdomain. Zero open ports, no static IP, works behind CGNAT.

Facts, not opinions.
We're a young project, so we won't pretend to have 10,000 customers. Instead of made-up testimonials - things you can verify yourself.

* Nabu Casa works only with HA. Tailscale still needs a VPN app on family phones. Cloudflare Tunnel requires Cloudflare Access (extra auth step) and lacks a multi-client panel.
Frequently asked questions
Getting started
No. The agent makes an outbound SSH connection to our relay - the client's router requires no port-forwarding, no open ports, no static IP. Works even behind mobile operator CG-NAT.
Yes - HA is our primary use case. Also works with Domoticz, OpenHAB, Nextcloud, Jellyfin, Grafana, Node-RED and any HTTP/HTTPS service. Important: we're a tunnel to the WEB PANEL, not a shell into the host OS. See q9 for limitations.
One curl command in the client's terminal (Raspberry Pi, NUC, Docker, HAOS). The open-source agent (GitHub) sets up SSH keys, a systemd service, and connects to the relay in under a minute. You only need a token from the SmartHomeEntry panel.
Security
Traffic travels over HTTPS to the relay, then through an encrypted SSH-2 tunnel with Ed25519 keys generated per installation. We don't store traffic content - only tunnel metadata (heartbeats, agent IP, connection timestamps). Infrastructure data is kept in the EU (OVH Warsaw).
Yes. Monthly billing, cancel from the account panel. No contracts, no termination fees. After cancellation, client tunnels remain active until the end of the paid period.
Pricing
Plans start at $7/month (one-time access from $5 for 7 days) with no long-term commitment - cancel anytime in your account. For Pro and Business: book a 20-minute demo where we walk through the product and provision a proof-of-concept tunnel in your environment. The public demo panel (/demo) is also open with three live services (Home Assistant, Domoticz, Jellyfin) - no signup needed.
Two reasons: (1) it works with ANY web service (Domoticz, Nextcloud, NAS, Grafana, Jellyfin), not only Home Assistant. (2) You get your own subdomain (yourbrand.smarthomeentry.com) instead of *.ui.nabu.casa. If you only use HA and don't need a custom domain, Nabu is fine - we make sense when you want other services, your own branding, or multi-client management.
Not yet - SmartHomeEntry currently operates as a Polish unregistered activity (działalność nierejestrowana), which means no VAT invoices until JDG registration. You get a Stripe payment receipt in your account (/account/invoices) that covers reimbursement in most cases. If your accounting team strictly requires a Polish faktura VAT, email [email protected] before paying and we'll flag it - VAT invoicing will be available once the JDG registration is complete.
